On Friday March 16 the Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce hosted yet another event solidifying business connections between Luxembourg and Poland.The LPCC had the pleasure to invite local investors and businessmen to the annual Business Lunch, giving them opportunity to establish new connections and discuss possible future ventures.
The guest of honor Mr Jean Ries, Director of Government and Public Affairs for Guardian Glass in Europe. The company know globally for production and installation of high quality of glass, used in construction of Zlote Tarasy in Warsaw, La Saine in Pairis or the highest building in the world the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Guardian Glass has over 120 000 employees around the globe and about 4000 in Europe. The Company received multiple awards for the quality of the their products and services.
The company chose to locate their European manufactures in Boleslawiec and Czestochowa, Poland. Jean Ries in his presentation explained the favorable economic conditions allowed Guardian Glass to flourish. The main factors being stabilized political climate and access to highly qualified work force.
