Entrepreneurial Women Project targets women with a business idea interested in setting up a start-up in Luxembourg, with no or very basic knowledge in running one’s own business. It is the only course of its kind offered in English in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
After completion of the course, the participants will be acquainted with/will have an understanding of the following topics:
- Business Entities,
- Idea Generation,
- VAT and Taxation,
- Business Model Canvas,
- Intellectual Property,
- Employment Law,
- Fundraising and credits for start-ups,
- Project Management,
- Public Speaking,
- Social Media Marketing,
- Business Dress Code and Etiquette.
Participants will be guided by excellent coaches from global consulting and legal advisory companies.
The format of the event is based on blocks of workshops taking place on 6 Saturdays from the end of September to November. Each day-session lasts 7-8 hours (9:00 – 17:00/18:00) (EWP 2019 Agenda) and is comprised of theoretical lectures and hands-on case studies.
This year and for the first time, all the EWP participants are offered free individual coaching sessions. These sessions will run after the Entrepreneurial Women Project ends in November and are not mandatory to attend. Each woman will be given the opportunity to work with a personal coach during three individual sessions. Priorities, motivation and any other topics related to her business project will be addressed.
