GLOBAL TALENT MOBILITY – HR CHALLENGES IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

The Luxembourg-Poland Business Club and PwC Luxembourg were  pleased to host the “Global Talent Mobility – HR Challenges in Digital Transformation” conference.

The event took place on Tuesday, 11 July 2017 at the PwC Luxembourg headquarters, and was attended my multinational HR representatives from numerous companies based in Luxembourg’s.

The conference was moderated by Mr Artur Sosna the LPBC Chairman.

Next Mr Christian Scharff,  PwC Partner opened the conference with his speech presenting European statistics showing a discrepancy between talent availability and talent needs in different industries,  and followed with the debate about the issues on the expert and managerial labor market, with special focus on Digital Transformation & Global Mobility. To conclude Mr Scharff  reflected on current trends and possible solutions.

Following  Mr Szymon Malecki, Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Cracow, Poland & Owner of Malecki Recruitment Solutions talked about Global Talent Mobility and presented  current trends with special focus on the European Banking and Finance Industry, showing  a huge potential of highly skilled  work force in Central and Eastern Europe.

The official part of the conference was concluded with the speech of Mrs Karolina Schiffter, Senior Associate/Head of Global Mobility & Immigration Practice, Raczkowski & Paruch Law Firm, Poland. Mrs Schiffter gave a presentation on  Managing Global Mobility , and structuring global assignments of employees to Luxembourg and all the legal solutions for the employers in different market sectors

The evening ended with a usual networking cocktail allowing the participants to exchange ideas and use the opportunity to discuss closely with the experts .
